Are you licensed?
We are licensed by the State of Georgia.
How quickly can you send me an Aide?
Usually within a few hours.
What sort of information will I be needed to give?
Basic information that does not take more than a few minutes. Name, address, that sort of thing, plus an idea of the condition of the person we would be caring for.
What else would we need?
We would want to discuss the schedule that you may require.
I’m in a hurry, will this take long?
No. If we start right now, it won’t take more than a few minutes.
What sort of Aide will we get?
It can be a Companion/Aide or a CNA (that’s a certified nursing assistant), depending on your need. One of our RNs would also visit and become the team leader.
What hours do you keep?
We are available for regular business during business hours, and our Care Coordinators are available for emergencies around the clock.
What do your Aides do?
Please click here at our Caregiver Tasks section that lists our services.
Who are your Aides?
They are ordinary people who went to school to learn their crafts. They are carefully selected for their training, compassion, and attitude, and they are bonded and insured.
What if we don’t like the Aide?
You get the benefit of a free interview with the Aide before she starts, and then you want her changed, we introduce a new Aide to you.
How much does all this cost?
I can tell you in a moment, just as soon as I get an idea of the patient’s needs and the desired schedule.
Who pays for these services?
These types of services are usually paid out-of-pocket by the family. If you have a long term care insurance plan, we will be happy to check its benefits for you. Medicare and regular health/medical insurance do not usually provide coverage for home care.
What is covered by your fees?
We pay all the expenses of the staff who visit you. You would only be asked to reimburse our Aides for mileage at 50 cents a mile for job-related errands.
What if an Aide does not show up?
You call us and we give you the option to take the credit for the missed time, or to ask us to promptly send you a fill-in caregiver.
